Marco Borriello admits he’s aiming for an Italy recall – “every player should aspire to the national team”.

The 33-year-old has been capped seven times by the Azzurri without scoring, but has been in fine form for Atalanta in recent weeks.

The big striker has scored four goals in his last three games for the Orobici, as well as providing an assist.

“It means I’ve found the right environment to play in,” Borriello told Sky when asked about his goal record.
