Milan forward Fabio Borini has hailed Suso as a ‘leader’ and Gennaro Gattuso for his ‘unique’ take to coaching. 

Suso has grown into one of Milan’s most prominent players under Gattuso, and Borini believes the pair are crucial to the Rossoneri’s ambitions of returning to the Champions League. 

“Gazidis has the experience of being at a club like Arsenal for a long time, a club who are solid and consistent in achieving their objectives,” he told Milan TV.

“Arsenal, in terms of media presence, are one of the top clubs. They’ve always managed to use the media well.

“He came to meet us on his first day of work, he met everyone, greeted everyone and seemed very helpful, smiling when approaching the players.

“We talked to him in English. He’s a global figure. Gattuso has brought uniqueness in the way he takes training, approaches the group and his attachment to the club.

“Suso’s always had the characteristics he has today, of being a technical player and very imaginative in the final third. He’s always been the leader he is now.”
