Fabio Borini’s agent is “not surprised” at links with PSG, but assures the Roma striker has had no negotiations.

This morning La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed Paris Saint-Germain and Coach Carlo Ancelotti were pouncing on the 21-year-old former Chelsea hitman.

“Many people have called me to ask about this, but I know nothing about it other than what was in the newspapers,” agent Marco De Marchi told RadioCalciomercato.

“I am accustomed to talking when things are real and concrete, so at this moment it’s just transfer rumours. Fabio is concentrated on Euro 2012 and so detached from everything that surrounds his name right now.

“I have never been contacted by PSG, so I cannot say any more than that. In any case, I am not surprised that Italian and overseas clubs are tracking young players who have shown great quality. Ancelotti appreciates his professional and determined approach.”

Borini is co-owned by Parma, but widely expected to remain at Roma, especially when Zdenek Zeman takes over as Coach.

“Zeman is a great teacher of football,” continued the agent. “Who hasn’t been entertained watching a Pescara match? Zeman is a clear and honest person who has always carried on with his ideas.

“I am waiting for a call from Parma and Roma to know the intentions of the two clubs. We will evaluate every proposal and choose the best option for Fabio. At the moment, the agreement between Parma and Roma is the real priority.”
