Juventus are ready to say goodbye to veteran defender Leonardo Bonucci, who could reportedly be left out of the squad for the pre-season tour in the United States.

The 36-year-old Italian centre back has entered the last year of his contract with the Bianconeri and the club have decided to start looking to the future, informing him that he won’t be a starting player in the coming campaign.

Bonucci has reportedly received various offers and proposals in recent weeks, including from Newcastle United, Sampdoria and various clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Corriere dello Sport via TMW highlights how Bonucci may not join Juventus for their pre-season tour to the US, instead staying in Italy to secure a move to a new club.

The 36-year-old wants to take part in the European Championship next year, so is unconvinced about the idea of moving to Saudi Arabia or the MLS, instead hoping to stay in Europe.
