Juventus have received a small boost in the Prisma investigation after the Court of Cassation decided to move proceedings to the city of Milan, reports detail.

Calcio e Finanza reports that the Attorney General of the Court of Cassation has accepted the club’s requests to move the investigation to the city of Milan, transferring proceedings from Turin.

The Prisma investigation into Juventus, launched by the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office, is exploring the club’s alleged false accounting through inflated player transfer values, secret salary agreements, and suspicious partnerships with agents and other clubs.

The reason behind the change of cities is due to the fact that the alleged crimes occurred where the financial statements and balance sheets were deposited – the Milan Stock Exchange – and not where they were drawn up in Turin.

The official decision to move to the city of Milan will reportedly be announced on September 6, but no ruling is expected to be made in the case until 2025.
