Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci was fined €10,000 after a touchline row with Inter secretary Cristiano Mozzillo.

Bonucci shoved the Inter staff member after Alexis Sanchez’s late winner against the Old Lady in a Supercoppa Italiana showdown last night.

The veteran defender had recovered from an injury and was on the sidelines, waiting to be introduced as a substitute in the final seconds of extra time, to take a penalty in the shoot-out.

According to multiple reports, he was annoyed by Mozzillo’s celebration for Inter’s late goal, so he tried to push him away.

What was said between Bonucci and Inter staff member during sideline incident

According to Il Tempo, Bonucci even shouted ‘I am going to kill you,’ to the former Napoli staff member.

It was reported that Bonucci could have faced a ban as Federal investigators had witnessed the scene and reported it.

However, the Federal Prosecutor fined the Italy international €10,000, so Bonucci will be available when the Old Lady hosts Udinese at the Allianz Stadium in their next Serie A game on Saturday.

  1. There is always two sides to a story. But everyone knows what bonucci is. A champion but a small minded man.

  2. This does not surprise me at all. Bonucci even confronted Rizzoli few years back and nothing happened LOL

  3. Breaking news, spoiled millionaire acts like a spoiled millionaire and throws a tantrum, pushes a man on live TV and suffers no consequences. 10k eh, that’s like fining a regular person $10.

Bonuccis kids probably saw that. Shameful shameful stuff.

  4. If Bonucci had done the same thing on the pitch, to a man of his age and equally well trained, he would have Benn punished. But not when he does it to a man 2o years older than him, not an athlete and off the pitch, nothing happens?

  5. Did this occur behind the Juve behind the Juve bench ? If so what was a director if Inter doing there ?

Not sticking up for Bonzo but where it happened can say a lot .

  6. Wow! Federal investigators involved! What a crime! Since all other players and staff members as well as fans of all other clubs in Italy are angels, Juve should be relegated to series D for this crime against humanity!

  7. @Rosario- I suppose Cheillinis challenge on Barella didn’t warrant a penalty either??
Refs are still trying everything they can to give you a helping hand, but the fact is you’re a spent force!! Your best player is a 37 year old centre back, who knows how to con referees…

  8. Just read the latest article “Bonucci row reflects Juventus arrogance” on my phone. Can’t find it in the web version.

I am shocked by the writers lack of objectivity! Just amazing.. Haven’t read a more lousy and amateur-like article in here before.

Is this a blog where you guys just vent your personal opinions? or is this a neutral news site?

  9. Ultra predictable – told you so. juBentus players get away with almost anything!

Just look at Chiellini`s foul on Barella – no penalty…

  10. They got the supercoppa.. they celebrated like it was a scudetto.. how do you say congratulations in chinese??

  11. @Rosario… please take your time and watch the first Juve and Inter game this season. THE penalty in that game is your answer. When you’re done watching it then understand how clueless you and Juve fans are.

@Chinanazionale… yeah, just that Bonucci shove alone tells a lot how it was NOT important for you guys. And congratulations in Chinese = CRY even MORE.
