“I’ve played with many champions and I try to steal secrets from everyone,” Bonucci explained to Total Italian Football.
“But the player I like watching on the pitch the most is Barzagli. He’s unbeatable in one-on-ones, he’s impressive in training and he always gives 100 per cent in the match.
“I think Andrea is an example for everyone.”
The Old Lady endured a difficult start to the season, but are undefeated in their last 17 League games, including 16 wins.
“The turning point of the season was the game against Sassuolo [a 1-0 defeat]. There was a strong emotional shock after the defeat and that’s when we went back to being the real Juventus.”
The Italian international was also asked about the impact of the Juve Coach Massimiliano Allegri and his predecessor Antonio Conte on his career.
“Allegri? He’s very intelligent and he knows how to manage the squad," Bonucci explained.
"He’s given us calm and togetherness, and he’s a very good Coach at the tactical level.
“As for Conte, I was lucky to meet him after an unfortunate year at Juventus where we’d finished seventh.
“The success of Juventus is also down to Conte, who brought a winning mentality and technical knowledge, enhancing the characteristics of us players.
“It was a critical step in my career, and I’ll always be grateful to him for what I learned on and off the pitch.”
