Daniele Bonera is out of Milan’s Serie A match with Cagliari after picking up a thigh injury in today’s friendly.

The defender limped off during the 9-2 victory over Sant’Angelo Lodigiano with “a heavy bruise to his left thigh.

“The player will undergo a series of personalised training sessions before returning to the group and will be evaluated over the next few days.”

This effectively rules Bonera out of Sunday afternoon’s game with Cagliari, which has been moved to the Stadio Olimpico in Turin due to on-going problems with the Is Arenas.

Antonio Nocerino, M’Baye Niang and Robinho bagged braces in the friendly at the Milanello training ground, while De Feo, Sulley Ali Muntari and Bojan Krkic completed the rout.
