Daniele Bonera criticised former teammate Antonio Cassano for his attack on Milan after joining Inter. “That’s just what he’s like.”

FantAntonio caused shock when he moved across San Siro in exchange for Giampaolo Pazzini plus €7m.

He also snapped at Vice-President Adriano Galliani in his presentation Press conference and declared he was unhappy with the Rossoneri.

“I didn’t like that he decided to speak out after he left, nor do I agree with what he said,” replied Bonera.

“That’s just what he’s like. On the field he gave us a big hand and the 2011 Scudetto also belongs to him.

“The club stood by him when he was ill, and that’s not to be sniffed at.”

Cassano suffered an ischemic stroke and required surgery to correct a congenital heart defect while he was at Milan, staying on the sidelines for five months.
