Bologna have confirmed their faith in under-pressure boss Stefano Pioli after a winless start to the season.

“I have never thought, not even remotely, about sacking Pioli,” President Albano Guaraldi told the Corriere di Bologna.

“That idea is not even in the hall of my brain.”
