Bologna are expected to appoint Sinisa Mihajlovic as their new Coach imminently.

Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports Mihajlovic has agreed a contract until the end of the season, with the option for a further season if he keeps Bologna in Serie A.

It would mark a return to the Dall’Ara for the Serb, who failed to last the 2008-09 campaign at the helm and was sacked by Sporting CP in June, just nine days into his tenure.

It would mark a return to the Dall’Ara for the Serb, who failed to last the 2008-09 campaign at the helm and was sacked by Sporting CP in June, just nine days into his tenure.

Nonetheless, he is vastly experienced in the Italian top flight, having also worked for Fiorentina, Catania, Sampdoria, Milan and Torino.

Mihajlovic should replace Filippo Inzaghi, who led the Rossoblu to just two wins from 21 League games to leave them in the Serie A relegation zone.
