Zvonimir Boban could reunite with Paolo Maldini as the new Milan director of sport, according to the Corriere della Sera.

The Croatian was part of that triumphant Rossoneri side from 1991 to 2001, retiring after one season at Celta Vigo.

He worked as a pundit in Italy and Croatia, but in 2016 was appointed Deputy Secretary General of FIFA.

Maldini is due to accept the role of technical director, leaving that of director of sport to Boban.
