Boateng’s imminent exit has fuelled rumours that the Italian club are making room for Real Madrid’s Kaka.

The San Siro giants could also make another attempt to sign Keisuke Honda from CSKA Moscow.

Boateng has been on the market all summer and was also paired with a possible switch to Monaco.

However, it seemed that he would stay in the end – especially after he scored twice in Wednesday’s 3-0 win over PSV Eindhoven.
