"I was on holiday after winning the championship,” said Blanchard.

“With two friends, Vincenzo and Walter, we organised a last minute trip to the Champions League final.

“We left at one in the morning from Grosseto, with my car full of bottles of water, beer and McDonalds burgers. We were on an adventure to support Juventus.

“We arrived at Alexanderplatz at 2pm, where we joined the Juventini maremmanni, a group of fans from Orbetello.

“We spent the afternoon eating and drinking, singing the chants of the Curva at the top of our voices.

“It was a thrilling day. When Morata scored delirium broke out and in the celebrations I took a lot of blows.

“After the match I watched the Juventus players under the Curva and I dreamed of being able to play against them. Now that it’s happened, it seems like a joke. But it’s all true.”
