Chelsea are looking to replace Antonio Conte next season with former Paris Saint-Germain Coach Laurent Blanc, claim Tuttomercatoweb.

Conte confessed recently his future at Stamford Bridge was in doubt after setbacks in the Premier League and Champions League.

There is a long list of potential candidates, including Juventus boss Max Allegri and Napoli’s Maurizio Sarri.

According to Italian site TMW, Chelsea have now approached Blanc for the role of manager.

The 52-year-old had only three years at the helm of Girondins de Bordeaux before he was given the France job from 2010 to 2012.

He was at Paris Saint-Germain from 2013 to 2016.

The World Cup winning defender had spells in France, Italy, Spain and England during his playing career, which concluded at Manchester United in 2003.

Blanc played for Napoli in 1991-92 and Inter from 1999 to 2001.
