Cristiano Ronaldo has still not scored a Serie A goal for Juventus and ended the game with Parma sporting a black eye.

The Ballon d’Or winner is adapting to life in Italy and, despite his team maintaining a 100 per cent record after three rounds, he is yet to find the net.

Things went from bad to worse for CR7 at the Stadio Tardini, as he quickly walked through the mixed zone towards the team bus surrounded by bodyguards, who asked reporters not to take pictures.

A snatched clip of video footage shows that is because Ronaldo was sporting a shiner on his left eye, which was clearly swollen and beginning to bruise.

It’s not clear when during the 2-1 victory he picked up the knock, but it certainly left a mark.

He got off considerably lighter than Chievo goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino, who is still out of action after a collision with Ronaldo left him with a fractured nose and whiplash.

Ronaldo has taken 23 shots in three games – more than any other player who is yet to score in Europe’s top five divisions this term.

However, he shouldn’t be too concerned, as last term he took 28 attempts to break his Real Madrid duck and went on to score 26 goals in 27 games.
