The outlet believes that Lazio will pay a fee of around €1.5m for the defender, who greeted reporters at the airport by saying: “Forza Lazio!”

Bisevac’s move seemed inevitable after he bid farewell to Lyon with a message to fans on his Twitter account this morning.

“At every club, more than trophies, the most important thing is the fans,” he wrote.

“Thank you to everyone for the messages of support.”
