The left-back scored his first Italy goal in the Nations League win over Poland, and has been attracting interest from some of Serie A’s biggest clubs.

However, calciomercato.com reports that a meeting took place last week between the defender’s agents and Viola sporting director Pantaleo Corvino, with a verbal agreement to renew.

Before Christmas, Biraghi will sign a new contract which will expire in 2021, taking his salary to around €1m per season plus bonuses.
