Italy left-back Cristiano Biraghi has reportedly agreed to extend his contract with Fiorentina.

According to Eurosport, Biraghi will sign an improved contract worth €1m a season after tax, taking him through to 2021.

Fiorentina bought the defender for just €2m in the summer of 2017 from Pescara, but he has gone on to become Italy’s first-choice left-back.

The 26-year-old, whose market value has risen to €20m, has also been linked with the likes of Milan and Atletico Madrid, as well as a return to Inter.
