Lucas Biglia has assured Lazio fans that he will sit down for talks over a new contract in December after returning against Sassuolo on Sunday.
Biglia made his first appearance in over a month during a 2-1 win for Lazio, although the midfielder’s presence created some controversy as his agent Enzo Montepaone thanked Argentine, not the Aquile, for his client’s quick comeback.
“My renewal? In December, we’ll have a new meeting. I’m happy with what we’re doing, we’re a good team,” he told Calcionews24.

“I went to Argentina, not even being able to walk, and came back running.
“Who do I thank? The medical staff of Lazio, who assisted me in the final phase of my recovery.
“I must also thank all those who helped me, but I’ve only ever had four muscle injuries.
“When I figured out [my injury], I thought right away about returning: I had to sit out for two months but came back after one.
“I don’t do controversy, I don’t have a doppelganger and never talk to anyone. The controversy certainly doesn’t leave me.”
Biglia then reflected on
“We never complain, what use would it be? Look at the touch of Federico Peluso’s hand,” he added.
“We dropped two points at Torino as well. Certain incidents only happen to us and keep happening, but we’re thinking of us and not the referees.”
