Milan have named Andrea Bertolacci and Alessio Romagnoli in their 23-man squad for Saturday’s Serie A trip to Empoli.

Bertolacci’s inclusion is especially significant, given the midfielder has only played five minutes for Milan this season, coming on the opening day against Torino, and spent the following three months sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Romagnoli, meanwhile, missed the Derby della Madonnina against Inter last weekend due to thigh trouble, but he is also free to return in Tuscany.
