Juventus forward Federico Bernardeschi has pulled out of the Italy squad with an adductor problem.

Bianconeri Coach Massimiliano Allegri admitted he had been playing with a muscular injury since the last international break, and he hasn’t featured in any of the last three games for his club.

The forward was called-up by Italy CT Roberto Mancini, but it was today been confirmed that he will return to Turin.

“Federico Bernardeschi has left the training camp at Coverciano,” the FIGC confirmed in a statement.

“The Juventus player will miss the challenges with Portugal and the United States because of an adductor injury and in the next few hours he will return to his club to undergo the necessary treatment.”
