Former Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has agreed to buy out 100 per cent of Serie C side Monza, with Adriano Galliani as CEO.
The negotiations have been going on for a few weeks and had initially been to purchase 70 per cent of the club, but increased that to a complete takeover.
Current patron Nicola Colombo will remain as President, with ex-Milan chief Galliani taking over as CEO.
“Maintaining this role is an honour, especially as I will no longer hold any of the club capital,” declared Colombo.

“It’s recognition for what I’ve done in the past and what I can still do for this club in future.”
It’s reported Fininvest – the Berlusconi family holding company – will spend €2.5-3m to purchase Monza.
