President Silvio Berlusconi will be released from hospital tomorrow, as the sale of Milan keeps getting delayed.

The media mogul had been hospitalised in order to undergo heart surgery, which forced the operation for the club's sale to hit the brakes.

While there has been some progress even in Berlusconi's absence, things have been slow. The final operations for the introduction of the Chinese buyers, which were supposed to take place this week, have again been delayed until next week.

According to Il Sole 24 Ore, this is not due to any problem or unexpected hurdle, only a desire to refine certain aspects of the club's due diligence.

With Berlusconi returning to city life tomorrow, albeit in a condition in which he needs to follow a rehabilitation program, operations should speed up, and hopefully next week will prove to be conclusive for Milan's historic change of ownership.
