Both strikers have been linked with a winter move back to Brazil recently, but the club's owner has claimed that he would like one of them to stay.

“Efforts will be made to retain at least one of Pato and Robinho,” he told reporters outside the team's hotel in Rome ahead of their match in the capital tomorrow.

“But I understand their nostalgia to return home.”
