Milan CEO Barbara Berlusconi insists Peter Lim hasn’t made an offer and in any case “€300m would be worth 30% of the club.”

There were reports that Singapore magnate Lim had put forward a proposal worth €300m to buy up 51% of the Serie A side, but that current patron Silvio Berlusconi was only willing to sell 30%.

“These claims are without foundation,” assured Barbara Berlusconi, who is joint-CEO with Adriano Galliani and the daughter of President Silvio Berlusconi.

“In general, regardless of the stories that have appeared today, the figures stated are not in line with the real value of the club.

“€300m would be worth around 30% of Milan, certainly not 51%.”

With these calculations, Berlusconi considers the club to be worth €1bn in total – approximately £830m.
