President Silvio Berlusconi insists “Milan is not for sale and is worth a lot more than €500m. Certain things are sacred.”
The reports continue to swirl round that Singapore-based businessman Peter Lim is preparing an offer to buy the Serie A club from the Berlusconi family.
It had been suggested the proposal was worth €500m, which joint-CEO Barbara Berlusconi said would only cover around half the club’s assets.
“Milan is not for sale and is worth a lot more than €500m,” Silvio Berlusconi told Porta a Porta this evening.
“Let us not joke around here, as certain things are sacred.”
However, this does not rule out the possibility of Lim investing in Milan and buying up a large number of shares for €350m.
