Milan President Silvio Berlusconi visited the team ahead of their Juventus clash, praising Antonio Cassano and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

“In these 25 years that I have owned the club, we've been able to make Milan the side with the most international trophies in the world and I have become the President with the most silverware in the history of world football. I think the fans like that too,” said the Italian Prime Minister.

“I'd love to build a stadium just for Milan, but there is a lot of red tape to get over before that can happen. Juventus deserve praise for being able to achieve it.”

There is still an injury crisis at San Siro, but Berlusconi is confident Milan can trouble the Serie A leaders.

“The team does change with Ibra on the field, as he brings strength and physicality to the side that builds for its strikers,” he told Milan Channel.

“Cassano has rediscovered his quality, which nobody doubted, but has given it a sense of consistency throughout the game and the season that he had previously lacked.

“I expect Milan to step on to the pitch to control the tempo and win convincingly, with the full respect of their opponents.”
