Former Inter President Massimo Moratti says Silvio Berlusconi must ‘do what’s best for Milan’ amid rumours of a sale.

The former Prime Minister is believed to be on the verge of selling the club, with Thai investor Bee Taechaubol on a Chinese consortium interested.

Moratti is familiar with the situation, having sold the city’s other team to Indonesian Erick Thohir in 2013.

“Money comes in from the East,” Moratti mused in an interview with Rai.

“It’s normal that they’re interested in our clubs, and also something to be proud of. I find it rewarding, and perhaps one day we Italians will do the same with them.
