Ibrahimovic is in the starting XI for the first time since the lockdown, sending Ante Rebic to the bench, as he has fully recovered from a calf injury.

“Having Ibra in the squad is always good, even if he doesn’t play. Obviously, it’s even better when he plays and I think he can really help the team,” Bennacer told DAZN and Milan TV.

The Rossoneri’s progress towards Europe stalled slightly in a 2-2 draw with 10-man SPAL.

“We are doing well and only took the positives from the SPAL game, as it gave us more confidence going forward. We must play the way we have done recently, acting as a team.

“We have to win this match.”
