Benevento President Oreste Vigorito is in hospital after feeling unwell this morning and won’t attend the big game with Verona.
The patron has overseen their first ever jump into Serie A and helped bring in the likes of Cheick Diabate and Bacary Sagna in January.
A statement from the club website confirmed Vigorito had been taken to hospital after feeling unwell this morning.
“At the moment, his situation is stable and under control. The doctors have, as a precaution, advised a brief period of rest.

“Therefore, tomorrow the President will not be attending the game between Benevento and Hellas Verona, but as always he will be close to the team and the whole city.”
Benevento’s stadium is named after Ciro Vigorito, Oreste’s brother, who died in 2010.
