Former Juventus loanee Nicklas Bendtner has been sentenced to prison for assaulting a taxi driver, but he’ll appeal the sentence.
The Danish forward was arrested last month after being reported to police by a taxi driver for an incident which left him with a broken jaw.
Today the City Court of Copenhagen found Bendtner guilty of assault, sentencing him to 50 days in prison, though the striker will appeal.
Bendtner made 11 appearances for Juventus in a loan spell in the 2012-13 season, but he failed to score a single goal.
