And those rumours seem to be close to the mark, with France Football leading with the news on Monday that the defender’s agent has been spotted in the Catalan capital to discuss a potential deal.
Benatia is said to be the Spanish giant’s number one transfer target this summer, after David Luiz joined Paris Saint-Germain over the weekend.
