M’Vila flew into Milan last week, declaring to reporters that he was ‘there for Inter’ and was seen as having quickly agreed personal terms on a prospective initial loan switch from Rubin Kazan.

However, the deal was reported as having stalled soon after, with it believed to be down to Mazzarri’s apparent reluctance for the Nerazzurri to sign him, based on technical and tactical doubts.

The Gazzetta dello Sport report today that M’Vila’s transfer could be resolved inside 48 hours and that medical tests may be undergone by Tuesday, but they also reiterate that the Coach’s doubts over the midfielder remain.

It is a situation that the pink paper report has Mazzarri asking Inter for further reinforcement in the centre of the park, in the form of Valon Behrami.

Behrami was strongly linked with a move to San Siro earlier this summer, only for speculation to die down with negotiations with Napoli apparently proving difficult.
