Bayern Munich are reportedly stepping up their attempts to sign Genoa and Italy defender Mimmo Criscito.
The 23-year-old talent has also been linked with the likes of Inter and Juventus in the past six months.
According to German newspaper Bild, Bayern Munich are eager to snap up Criscito for a January transfer.
The report maintains contact has already been made with President Enrico Preziosi.
Criscito's current contract expires in June 2014 and he is versatile, able to play as centre-back, full-back or in a more advanced position.
