Bayern Munich director Hasan ‘Brazzo’ Salihamidzic arrived for Juventus talks over Matthijs de Ligt, leaping ahead of Chelsea and Manchester City. ‘We’ll see.’

The former Bianconeri player touched down in Turin with a private jet this afternoon and was greeted at Caselle Airport by reporters.

He still speaks Italian, having played in Serie A from 2007 to 2011 and hanging up his boots in 2012.

Asked if he feels confident that De Ligt will join Bayern, Brazzo replied: “We’ll see.”

He was then asked if it’s possible a deal could be done today, but only shrugged and walked away.

Bayern Munich reportedly agreed personal terms with De Ligt, but are struggling to reach the €115m asking price.

There is a release clause in his contract worth €120m, with Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United also interested, but La Gazzetta dello Sport claim the Dutchman has chosen Bayern as his favoured destination.

  1. He joined Juventus when there was no competition and know is doing the same with Bayern, am a Milan fan but hopefully they get a got fee and a good replacement, we need a strong serie a in Europe.

I appreciate the sentiment, and you’re absolutely right. Why would he prefer Bayern and a boring league is beyond me, unless it’s just money.
