The Slovenia international midfielder has been an absolute revelation since his arrival from Maribor towards the end of the transfer window.

La Gazzetta understands Bayern's scouts have already watched the 22-year-old this season, prompting Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini into action.

Reports suggest he has brought forward talks to discuss an improvement in the terms of Ilicic's contract at the Renzo Barbera.

Zamparini apparently would like to include a minimum fee release clause in the player's new deal in order to protect his value.
