Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli is likely to be out ‘for around a month’ after he dislocated his shoulder on Sunday, reports say.

The injury was sustained in the opening minutes of a 2-1 victory over Chievo for the Bianconeri, and Gazzetta dello Sport reports that it is likely to be early December before Barzagli can return. The club have confirmed a diagnosis, but there is yet to be any official word about how long his layoff will be.

The Tuscan-native has already been replaced in the Italy squad by Fiorentina’s Davide Astori for the forthcoming friendlies against Liechtenstein and Germany. Barzagli is most likely to be missed most by his club when they take on Sevilla in a crucial Champions League group stage fixture on November 22nd.
