Barzagli has not been called up for this weekend's game against Mainz, so is to all intents and purposes a Juve player.

His contract expires at the end of the season, but Juventus are reportedly ready to pay €1m to have Barzagli in January.

In other transfer news, Chievo have officially signed Colombian striker Fernando Uribe from title-winning Once Caldas.

The forward has just turned 23 and has signed a four-year contract.

Serie B leaders Novara have formally signed Cagliari benchwarmer Alex Pinardi with a contract that expires in 2013.
