Barone told Tuttosport that he would take to the Artemio Franchi pitch with Agnelli on Saturday, despite the strong rivalry that exists between Fiorentina and Juve.
However, he later clarified at Pedro’s official unveiling: “That was just a joke, it’s impossible.

“I wouldn’t do it for even $2bn, given all the work we’re doing at Fiorentina.”
The Italo-American joined the Viola over the summer, as part of the new-look board installed by Rocco Commisso.
