Despite assurances from Juventus, reports in England and Spain claim Barcelona and Real Madrid are vying for Paulo Dybala.

The Bianconeri’s general manager said yesterday that there is “no problem” with the forward’s proposed contract renewal, intimating that he’ll commit his future to the Turin club.

However, Marca has claimed that and €80m bid from Barcelona for Dybala has been rejected by the Old Lady.

In addition, British tabloid the Sun reports that Real Madrid offered £77m [€90m] plus Alvaro Morata, but Juve demanded that either Toni Kroos or Luka Modric be included as well.

Los Merengues rejected that idea, but the newspaper claims Juventus would accept an offer of Morata, plus a fee in excess of the €105m they sold Paul Pogba to Manchester United for.

It’s not clear how credible these reports are, however, given the statements of Marotta, as well as Real Madrid Coach Zinedine Zidane.

When rumours of Morata’s return to Turin first emerged yesterday, Zizou was quick to shoot them down by declaring that Madrid is the striker’s “home”.
