It’s reported Nice forward Mario Balotelli will be left out of Gigi Di Biagio’s first Italy squad to face England and Argentina.

The Nazionale take on Argentina in Manchester on March 23 and then visit England in London on March 27.

Despite finding form in France over the last couple of campaigns, SuperMario is still apparently not going to get his Azzurri recall.

He hasn’t played for his country since the 2014 World Cup.

It was hoped that he would be the first name on the list for Di Biagio, who visited Balo in Nice, after Giampiero Ventura’s dismissal.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests Balotelli will be snubbed again in favour of Valencia striker Simone Zaza.

Another alternative to both of them is on-form Milan youngster Patrick Cutrone.

Zenit St Petersburg defender Domenico Criscito could get a recall after several years out.
