There are multiple reports Liverpool will sell Mario Balotelli to a Chinese Super League club after his Milan loan expires.

The Italy striker has seen his career path dip in recent years with short-lived spells at Manchester City, Milan, Liverpool and back to San Siro again.

Now several English papers note that Liverpool don’t want SuperMario back, as he is not part of Jürgen Klopp’s plans.

The club instead hopes to make the most of the recent spending spree from Chinese clubs by selling the 25-year-old in south-east Asia.

Clubs in Turkey could also be interested, but they could not compete with the huge wages and transfer fees on offer from China.

In the last few weeks alone the likes of Jackson Martinez, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Fredy Guarin, Alex Teixeira and Ramires have all moved to the Chinese Super League.

It remains to be seen whether Balotelli would accept such a transfer, especially as it would mean being on the other side of the planet from his young daughter.
