There are reports that Mario Balotelli has given notice on his rented house and sending back possessions to Italy ahead of a £24m move to Milan.

The fiery Manchester City striker has repeatedly been linked with the Rossoneri, although again on Friday Vice-President Adriano Galliani denied any talks for the 22-year-old.

According to a report in The Sun, Balotelli has given notice on his rented house and is already shipping some of his possessions to Italy.

The rumours emerged after agent Mino Raiola was spotted at the Milan HQ in Via Turati this week, but £24m is likely to be beyond the Rossoneri’s transfer budget.

Italian newspapers today suggest the only way this could go through would be if Ignazio Abate and Robinho were also sold during the January transfer window.

Balotelli arrived at Manchester City in 2010 with a £22m move from Inter, but has always admitted he is a lifelong Milan supporter.

Recently his rapport with manager Roberto Mancini took another turn for the worse with pictures emerging of a training ground bust-up.

Milan President Silvio Berlusconi referred to SuperMario as "a bad apple," but then insisted he had been misquoted and apologised.
