The agent of Mario Balotelli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mino Raiola, claims he’ll run for the presidency of FIFA.

Raiola is well known for his colourful outbursts, and has today declared that he’ll challenge Sepp Blatter for the leadership of football’s governing body.

“I’m sick at the thought of Blatter being reelected,” Raiola told De Volskrant.

“Me in charge of FIFA? Yes, I really want to put myself forward, me running could be the best solution.

“I’d be like a bull in a china shop at first, but I’m ready to learn. Do you want a dictator at the head of FIFA, or to live in a democracy?

“My 12-year-old son knows that the best thing about FIFA is the video game, it has to be more transparent.”

In the unlikely event he were to run, Raiola would have to secure the backing of five FIFA federations to become an official candidate.

The other challengers to Blatter at this point are Jerome Champagne and Prince Ali bin Al Hussein.
