Davide Ballardini says he will discuss his future with Genoa chief Enrico Preziosi after the Easter festivities.

Ballardini was appointed mid-season after Preziosi surprisingly sacked Gian Piero Gasperini at Marassi.

However, Ballardini's future is in some doubt and numerous men have been associated with the job for next season.

"I'll speak with President Preziosi after Easter," the tactician noted when questioned on what will occur at the end of the season.

"I'll speak with President Preziosi after Easter," the tactician noted when questioned on what will occur at the end of the season.

"The only negative performance which we've put in since I got here was against Cagliari.

"In this tough season I think that Genoa have simply got the points that we have deserved – and we're happy with that."

Bologna boss Alberto Malesani is a contender to replace Ballardini with the port club, but he is not alone.

Siena Coach Antonio Conte and former Roma boss Claudio Ranieri are also understood to be on Preziosi's short-list.
