“That’s clearly a joke and we’ll take it as such,” Ballardini said in his pre-match Press conference.
“I don’t know what Genoa Sampdoria will find, it’s our third game in a week and we’re making our decisions based on the condition of the lads.
“We haven’t had many days to prepare so I’m curious to see what will happen.
“They’re a very well-organised and talented team, they have personality and quality and a knowledge of their own ability.
“They know how to express themselves, we’ll play to score, so will they.”
