“It was evident we could not play, as it was obvious the pitch was not suitable for a game of football,” director general Baldissoni told Roma Channel.

“We don’t know when this game can be replayed. We have to take into account the fixture lists of both Roma and Lazio” data-scaytid=”7″>Lazio. Plus the stadium needs to be used for Italy’s home matches in the Six Nations rugby tournament.

“This game probably won’t be played imminently.”

Under Italian rules, the game will resume from where it left off, on 0-0 after 13 minutes, rather than be replayed entirely.
