Bayer Leverkusen confirmed star winger Leon Bailey won’t face Juventus in the Champions League due to a muscle tear.

The club released a statement explaining the extent of the injury that he sustained during last night’s 2-1 defeat to Lokomotiv Moscow.

The Jamaica international went off at half-time and tests showed a muscle tear that will keep him out for “several weeks.”

It is therefore safe to say Bailey won’t be ready to take on Juventus on October 1.
