Carlos Bacca “would like to go back to Sevilla,” said the striker’s agent, but “remaining at Milan is still an option.”

The Colombia international has been frozen out by Coach Vincenzo Montella, excluded from training along with transfer-listed Jose Sosa and Gabriel Paletta.

“It’s well known that he would like to go back to Sevilla,” agent Sergio Barila told Estadio Deportivo.

“He had a wonderful part of his life and sporting career there, which is why he’d love a return.

“When Bacca arrived at Milan, he signed a five-year contract and intended to see it through, but unfortunately there was a change of ownership and sporting direction, so they have other ideas.

“This is why the best thing is to find a solution that makes everyone happy. Having said that, Carlos and his family really like being in Milan and remaining is still an option.”

Olympique Marseille and Valencia have been named as the most likely candidates to sign Bacca, but both want him on loan with option to buy.
